Wahab goes on extended leave for 7weeks today, he will be sorely missed. We have arranged cover during he absence.

The leak to the foyer seems finally to be fixed!!

Sky have agreed to install a system at Piccadilly Lofts, this has been a long time coming.

Service charges: Thank you to all who attended the AGM. The decision has been made to increase service charges by 10% to cover costs.

TV Reception

As I am sure you are all no doubt aware our TV reception of late has been RUBBISH. Several surveys have brought to attention major faults with re-wiring is strongly recommended. We are currently looking into several possibilities, the most probable outcome is a communal sky dish which will enable residents to choose from freeview, freesat or sky. I apologise for the time this is taking to sort out.



Cycle Storage

A new bike rack has recently been installed on the newer side of the building. It is situated at the bottom of the blue stairs in the basement. The location is far from perfect, but due to fire regulations we are restricted to where we could install it.

Bikes

Please do not chain your bikes anywhere apart from the allocated positions in the stairwells. The fire brigade did an inspection this morning and will remove bikes that block access or ones they deem a fire hazard. Your cooperation in this matter is much appreciated.



Letter box vandalism

The letter boxes have been broken into twice in the last week. Both times by the same individual and good CCTV footage has been passed onto the Police who are confident of a conviction. The Police require individuals to report break ins / thefts as each letter box is classed as a seperate crime. If you have not already done this, I urge you to contact them asap.

It has also become apparent that several residents are not locking their letter box. If the lock is broken or you do not have a key, I would advise you to replace the lock asap. This is the responsibility of the apartment’s owner, not the management company’s.

Water

Some residents have been having problems with their water supply. I have been in contact with United Utilities and the tank has also been inspected. Any problems should now be resolved.

Our janitor has been away on extended leave for the last few weeks but is due back soon. Please be patient whilst he makes the Lofts spick and span once again.
